Pensacola Florida songwriter, Cher Lynn Bragg has completed the recording of her first 12 song CD release in Nashville with MCA Universal producer Robert Metzgar. The new project features the songwriting of one of country music's brightest new stars. Cher Lynn was discovered by the veteran hit maker at Fan Fair 2007 and signed to a recording contract this year. She is currently writing for other recording artists and looks forward to writing for a new ABC television show produced in Hollywood.

23rd Annual Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival Thursday, Nov. 8 through Sunday, Nov. 18.

The list is growing of more than 300 acclaimed songwriters - who have crafted some of the biggest hits in modern music. The festival will feature Grammy Award-winning artists, No. 1 hit writers and up-and-coming young performers playing their songs at venues in Bon Secour, Foley, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Josephine, Ala., and in Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Innerarity Point and Perdido Key on the Florida side. The Words and Music School Program returns with hit-songwriters bringing the gift of songwriting to area schools Nov. 14, 15 and16. The list of performers include Chris Wallin, Bob DiPiero, Jeff Stevens, Kelley Lovelace, Marc-Alan Barnette Hank Cochran, Sonny Throckmorton, Larry Butler. Larry T. Wilson, Rusty Golden, Kate York and popular regional artist Cher Lynn Bragg.
