Hi everyone! First off, thank you to EVERYONE to voted for me online for the Next GAC star competition!!! I got as high as number 8 out of almost 500 entries for the final round, and I stayed in the top ten for several days!!! This kind of exposure is wonderful, and I have had emails from people ALL OVER telling me how much they love my songwriting.

On a different note, the release of the first single has been delayed just a bit. (The music industry is SLOW, but I am being patient!!) I am writing new songs, though--and we should be able to start promotion on the CD soon.

Hi everyone! It has been an awesome Spring so far...busy busy. My first single is about to be released to national radio, so that is exciting! I have been working on songs for the next CD also. I played the Old Spanish Trail Festival in early May, and that was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting, and a big ole' "Hello" to all the wonderful fans I met!

Well, what can I say, the live radio show last night was TOO COOL. Danny Burns was awesome--he made me feel so comfortable and I appreciated that. The live music turned out great, and I got to play a couple of new ones, too! Thanks to EVERYONE who listened in--I hope you enjoyed it!! Not bad for my first time, I think.... :)

Hello everyone!! Hope your holidays were wonderful and your 2008 has been eventful so far...

I have been busy writing new songs and getting ready for my first live radio performance. It will be broadcast live on the web at 8:00pm Central Standard Time on Monday, January 21st.

Log on to www.30aradio.org and click on Listen Live Now and you will be able to hear the live feed. The DJ will be playing some of the songs from the CD, and I will be performing live, as well as answering interview questions and talking about the new CD.

Hope you can log in and listen--it should be great fun.

Okay, so is this place the COOLEST or what? The entire complex is unbelieveable! If you haven't been to Orange Beach at the Wharf and seen this shopping/dining complex, then you are missing out. The food and drinks were great, the wait staff was awesome and the crowd was OUTSTANDING at Ginny Lane's last night. I enjoyed performing there so much. Check out the pictures I posted. What a totally cool place... I'll be back!

Hello everyone! Let me tell you, the Pirate's Cove was ROCKIN' last Saturday night! What a cool place and the crowd was awesome. I was honored to share the stage with Maggie Brown and Paul Killough--both fantastic writers and performers. I was so happy to get to meet some of you, sign Wild Bill's guitar, and have some cold beer and pizza. Thank you for all of the support!!! See you at the next venue!

Hey everyone! We just got back from laying the last of the final vocals on the CD. Whew!!!

All that is left to do is the harmony vocals and they are scheduled at the end of this month, then the mixing and engineering, and finally it will be sent to New York for mastering. I'm really excited about it--we should have a product before Christmas!!! I have worked very hard on this CD and I cannot wait to share it with you. I will keep you posted on the progress.

Hey Y'all!! I know the album is not out yet, but am already working on some new material for the next one. Its weird, I usually get a hit of inspiration when I am driving in my car, which isn't the safest place to be writing something down. :)

I am also trying to get comfortable with playing the electric guitar--which is strange to me. Most of you know that I am an acoustic guitar player--that is definately what I am familiar with. Time to branch out and try new things!!!!

There should be some short clips added to the music section soon, so you can get a taste of how great the album is going to be! I'm so excited!!

Hey Y'all! Just got back -- we recorded master vocals for eight of my songs on the album, so there are only four more to record vocals on, and then mixing and engineering will begin. The musicians that played on the album are phenomenal. Once again, I got to record with the "cream of the crop" in Nashville. I am humbled by their talent and professionalism--there isn't a better group of guys out there--truly.
I am very excited to begin wrapping things up so I can share this album with you all--it has been a labor of love for me. I hope when you listen to my music it touches you in the way it touched me when I was writing all of the songs.
